A Vision for Columbus Park

Back in the late 40's
there were Army Barracks that were
converted into apartments to house
returning War Veterans 
and their families.
The  area was called Columbus Park. 
Sometime in the middle fifties the Army Barracks
were demolished.

After the Army Barracks were demolished, there 
was a vision to build a park on the empty lot.
