When was this historic building demolished? Were any historic artifacts retained for posterity?
Jim, There was a very big fire at the Packer House on March 17, 1969. It was later torn down. Was a junior at PAHS at the time. Will have to find an article about the fire in 1969.
I remember some people jumped out of the window to escape the fire. Nasty Fire
