Perth Amboy Calendars

Throughout the years organizations and companies  have produced
calendars of Perth Amboy.
In  1975, Three Financial Institutions (First Savings and Loan of Perth Amboy,
Perth Amboy National Bank, and Perth Amboy Savings Institution) unwrote
the costs of a calendar with Historical Perth Amboy Pictures.
This calendar was comprised of various sketches of Perth Amboy.
A few of them were drawn by Francis McGinley

The Waterfront Association to Effect Restoration ("W.A.T.E.R.") put out
a calendar in 1985 with vintage photos of Perth Amboy.

A picture of a trolley from 1908 taken on Smith St. near No. 4
School.  Check on the empty lots.
Picture was courtesy of the National Railway Historical Society.
The Maid of Perth, Antiques & Collectibles owned by Barbara Booz
produced a calendar of Perth Amboy Vintage Photos in 2000. Check out
the Strand Theatre and Seaman's Drug store on front cover
Included in the calendar was a photo of a 1953 snowstorm.
Picture is of lower Smith Street.
In this picture you can see the signs for Surprise Store, Rexall Drugs (Seaman's)
and Famous Hats. In the lower left hand corner, there are windows of a bakery.
In 1964, it was called "New Bakemaster Bake Shop.  It may have been
known by another name.
